Foreign Language School Policy
Welcome to our Foreign Language School! Our mission is to provide high-quality language instruction in a supportive and engaging environment. In order to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all students, we have established the following policies. These policies are designed to maintain a positive and professional learning atmosphere.
1. Enrollment and Registration
- Registration Process: All students must complete the registration form and provide necessary personal details to enroll in a course. Students will receive a confirmation email once their registration has been processed.
- Course Selection: Students should choose a course that aligns with their current proficiency level. If unsure about which course to take, students may consult with our staff for guidance or take a placement test.
- Course Duration: Course lengths and schedules are subject to availability. Information on course start dates, duration, and times will be provided upon registration.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
- Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend classes regularly and be punctual. Consistent attendance is crucial for language learning progress.
- Absences: If a student cannot attend a class, they should inform the instructor or school administration as soon as possible. Missed classes may be rescheduled, but we cannot guarantee availability.
- Late Arrivals: Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to enter the class, as it disrupts the learning environment for others.
3. Payment and Fees
- Tuition Fees: Tuition fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the course. Payment details will be provided upon registration.
- Refund Policy: Please note that no refunds will be issued for any course fees, regardless of whether the student attends all classes or withdraws after the course has started.
- Additional Costs: Students are responsible for any additional costs, such as materials, books, and online resources required for the course.
4. Code of Conduct
- Respectful Behavior: All students are expected to behave respectfully toward their instructors, classmates, and school staff. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Classroom Etiquette: Students should participate actively, maintain a positive attitude, and follow the instructions of the instructor. Mobile phones should be set to silent during class.
5. Learning Materials
- Textbooks and Resources: Required textbooks and learning materials will be provided or made available for purchase or download. Students should bring the necessary materials to each class.
- Online Resources: For online courses, students will receive access to an online learning platform with course materials, assignments, and forums for discussion.
6. Student Feedback and Evaluation
- Feedback: We value student feedback and encourage students to share their thoughts on the course, instructors, and learning environment. Feedback forms are available after each course or upon request.
- Progress Reports: Regular assessments will be provided to monitor progress. Students are encouraged to review their progress with their instructors and seek guidance when needed.
7. Health and Safety
- Health Concerns: If a student has a health condition or disability that may affect their participation in class, they are encouraged to inform the school administration so that appropriate accommodations can be made.
- Safety: The school follows all local safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff. Students should follow all safety protocols while on school premises.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
- Personal Data Protection: We respect your privacy. Personal data collected during the registration process is stored securely and used solely for administrative purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
- Confidentiality: All student information, including progress reports and assessments, is kept confidential and shared only with the student, their instructor, or relevant administrative personnel.
9. Termination of Enrollment
- Failure to Comply: The school reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment if they fail to comply with school policies or engage in behavior that disrupts the learning environment.
- Withdrawal: If a student chooses to withdraw from the course, they should notify the school in writing at least one week before the next scheduled class.
10. Amendments to the Policy
The school reserves the right to update and amend this policy at any time. Students will be notified of any changes to the policy via email or posted notices.
By enrolling in a course at our Foreign Language School, you agree to comply with these policies. We are dedicated to helping you succeed in your language learning journey and are here to support you every step of the way.
