ECL Exams

We are proud to be associated with ECL, a leading organization for conducting international German exams that are recognized and accepted for employment throughout the World.

International Certification and Collaboration

ALTE and CEFR are two different frameworks used to evaluate and measure language proficiency.

  • ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe) is a European organization that provides a framework for language assessment. It offers a set of internationally recognized levels (ALTE Level 1 to ALTE Level 6) that describe language proficiency in a clear and consistent manner.

  • CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is a reference framework developed by the Council of Europe to provide a common basis for the evaluation of language proficiency. It defines six levels of proficiency (A1 to C2) that describe what a learner can do in a language in terms of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Both ALTE and CEFR are widely used for language assessment, certification, and accreditation purposes, and are recognized by employers, universities, and governments around the world.

ECL -  European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages

ECL (European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages) is an organization that provides language proficiency exams for non-native speakers of modern European languages. The exams are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), which is a widely recognized framework for language proficiency assessment. ECL exams are highly reputed because:

  • Recognition: The ECL exams are recognized by employers, universities, and governments in Europe and beyond, as a valid and reliable measure of language proficiency.
  • Relevance: The ECL exams assess language skills in real-life situations and test language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This makes them highly relevant and applicable to everyday life and professional situations.

  • Consistency: The ECL exams are consistent in terms of content and format, which ensures fairness and impartiality for all test-takers.

  • Reliability: The ECL exams are based on the CEFR, which provides a common and transparent basis for the evaluation of language proficiency. This ensures that results are reliable and comparable across languages and countries.

Overall, the ECL exams are highly reputed due to their recognition, relevance, consistency, and reliability, making them a valuable and sought-after language proficiency certificate.
